A stringless girl. My Felicity does have strings, maybe your girl's have been pushed inside on the neckline?
So this may sound weird, considering I've had Felicity for a few years, but I don't normally strip my dolls completely naked, but while trying on the Spring gown, I thought her undergarment she comes in would be better off. So when I remove it, I notice something, THERE ARE NO STRING BEHIND HER NECK, NONE!!!! Not that I hate the look, but it was just odd, since all my other girls have strings.... Just one of those things I guess.

Did you buy her directly from AG? Or second hand. There have been some posts that when you send a doll in to the hospital...you have to tell them you want the head reattached with string or they will use a plastic tie. I forget the exact name of them. If you got her second hand, that might explain it.
My Grandma bought her for me right off of AG... that was what was so weird to me. If she was second hand I would've understood.
I would call up AG CS and tell them the situation. You recived Felicity as a gift and you noticed she had no strings and see if you can get her replaced for free.

I don't really want to replace my Felicity, and she looks fine (had her for a few years). I am looking at the back of her neck and it looks fine to me sans strings. She has a plastic ring, but it is not that noticable.... Everything else on her is fine as well... I was just wondering if anyone else had this?
This same thing just happened to me...I just got the AGT 24 doll and she is beautiful. I got the gymnastics outfit for her and she is our gym girl, so I was changing her clothes to her new "meet" outfit...the gym one and noticed that she has no strings, just that white zip tie thing...I don't like it and that little extra flap of fabric that is there because of the "v" thing in the back sticks out...then I noticed as I was pulling her hair up(no good gymnastist leaves her hair down for practice, right?) that she has this lump in her wig by her ear...after further investigation, I discovered that the wig got glued kinda crooked and is glued a bit to the ear, thus the hair in the wig on that side sticks out. You can't tell when her hair is down, but it's obvious in any up style you try, pony tail...etc...so I guess I gotta send her back and add her to the my stash of other doll returns...I have had no luck with dolls...Sam has a cow lick in her bangs, Josephina's hair has a singed section on top, Kaya has a bald spot and now this...what is UP???? I have really no complaints on anything else...but the dolls, which isn't that where the QUALITY should begin? I thought I was being extra picky or somehting, so I showed them to my DH last night and he could even see these issues and he could care less about dolls and hair, other than it's important to me! SO you know if he can tell..... Just my thoughts and frustrations poured out for you....

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I don't have those specific AGTs, but I did just get Kit last month and she has strings, not plastic. I recently sold on my AGTS (who had had her head replaced at the doll hospital) and I noticed as I was dressing her for the pix, that her head was attached with the plastic tab. I had never noticed before, even though I got her back from the hospital 3 years ago! It is very unobtrusive, I think, but not the "classic" be-stringed look I'm used to.Originally posted by MapleLeaf:
Now I'm a little bit worried about my AGT24 which I'll be receiving next week. Has anyone else who have purchased the new AGT 22,23,24 noticed this plastic tab around their necks instead of the string?
